Core Pin
A method to create a hole through part geometry. If this part's core pin were to become damaged it is relatively easy to replace because the oblong feature is on a "Round" pin.

Compare this option with "Cored Solid". The "Cored Solid" option does not leave a witness mark but is much more difficult to fix should the steel become damaged.
